New flooring preparation
Once you’ve decided on the flooring you’re after, here are a few things you can do before it gets fitted to make sure everything is ready for when our fitters arrive.
- Remove all furniture from the room.
- Make sure any wiring from electrical items are detached
- Ensure that your under-flooring is level, screwed down so there are no creaks, so you don’t have any problems once the new carpet is installed.
Our fitters will help you remove furniture from your room if you can’t do it all; they’ll also put it back again! We can take up and dispose of your old carpet so you don’t have to worry about its disposal, which may require a small fee, meaning you can have a stress-free experience and enjoy your new carpet.
If you would like to know more about our flooring options or our fitting, please get in touch with us, and we can help you find the perfect flooring for your house this new year. We hope you have all had a merry and safe Christmas, and we look forward to seeing you in 2022.
